What exactly can the remote do with your tv?


i'm reading remote can adjust tv's volume, else can do? can turn tv on , off. can switch input apple tv? (i have 1 hdmi port.)

if control whole thing via atv remote argument in favour.
 

yep, volume control. didn't need either, worked tv immediately. guess picks tv make/model via hdmi link , knows ir codes use?
also, yes, it'll switch on appletv , tv @ same time (i think if tv supports hdmi-cec protocol). haven't tried yet, think that'll auto-switch tv source if tv switched on. that's how works on ps4. however, no way switch source else. pretty sure works 1 way (as understand it, that's how hdmi-cec works)

Fallout 4 Builds- Which ones You Prefer?
