Tim Cook Tells White House to Embrace 'No Backdoors' Encryption Policy in Meeting

last friday, tim cook , representatives other silicon valley companies met white house officials discuss how counter use of social media terrorist groups recruit new members. in meeting, cook criticized white house for stance on encryption, reports the intercept.

cook told white house officials administration should "come out , 'no backdoors'" in encryption. apple ceo has repeatedly said backdoors in sort of encryption create opening bad guys access private information of consumers.
