iMac 2006 HELP!

okay, here's situation. have 2006 imac 20" 2.16 ghz (model: a1207). other day room computer in being reorganized. before moved anything, shut down computer because knew wanted move ups 1 place required computer unplugged , power cord routed around desk in different way. anyway, after shut down, later came after had been moved. pressed power button turn on, , there no response. pressed again, , nothing happened. went through usual things, resetting smc, trying different outlets, etc.

know this: when plugged in, there faint high pitched hum coming machine (i assume normal, i'm not sure). every 3 seconds there faint clicking sound. after following instructions 3 diagnostic leds, notice lowermost led on when computer plugged in. normal, far know, , means there power coming in. nothing happens when press power button. however, every 3 seconds (at same time clicking sound) middle led flashes on fraction of second, while lower light simultaneously turns of , on again. every 3 seconds.

also, plugged in usb charging cable remote control toy see if usb ports getting power. @ time click , middle led flashing, light on usb cable indicates receiving power flashes on. don't know how of information relevant, that's know far.

it sounds might power supply has kicked bucket.
