Vandalized MacBook Pro 2012


i'll omit drama , issue @ hand on this- 2012 mbp intentionally dropped 3 feet , hit tile floor cover lid bearing brunt. expected, glass on screen cracked badly , need replaced (1680x1050 glossy- ideas of cost?) have run disk test , comes fine, when run aht locks cold during memory test phase @ start. seems run when boot desktop, have used machine sparingly. possibly 1 of memory sticks jarred loose?

surprisingly, see no dents or scratches (well, there no new ones) concerned ideas should check see needs replacing , repairing. suggestions have experienced fallen mbp appreciated.

and... happy 2016 all!
 

try , reseat ram, it's not overly difficult on machines. if problem persists i'd @ least diagnosis apple , go there.
