Return fenix 3 for Apple Watch?


i interested opinions here possibly returning garmin fenix 3 have, , getting apple watch in it's place. pricing work out same, not factor.

have had fenix 3 close year, have not worn in months. reason have fenix 3 cycling, running, , hiking, between 2 young children , moving, activities have not happened in last 4 or months. liked wearing daily use, feel though may bit large taste. further watch faces , daily capabilities, while adequate, little underwhelming. overall, fenix 3, wondering if apple watch can fenix did me, better.

need know how apple watch @ fitness activities such cycling, running , hiking. hiking , cycling have iphone 6s plus me, not have cell service. running, watch alone. know won't accuracy of fenix, enough. phone , watch last 8-12 hour hike? assume gps function fine without cell service, since has in past. there former garmin users have switched, , if so, feel watch phone nearby worth move?

thoughts welcome.

edit: way, of may remember, apple watch hater on, , honestly, may still be, don't know. looking @ fenix has been sitting months , wonder if more use out of apple watch.
