OS X Server with Windows 7--folder permissions problem
hey there, all. name susan. i've started administering server in our photo studio , i've run problem. i'm hoping can me. have newest os x server software running on yosemite on macmini. server manages file sharing. of client machines in office yosemite except 2 windows 7. of two, 1 uses file sharing. here problem. when creates folder windows machine, nobody else can delete or modify folder. set od, , there several different od users. if 1 of od users makes directory in sharepoint, can add files, delete files, rename things, make folders, etc. it's great. there 1 problem. if user on windows machine (authenticated mapped sharepoint od credentials) creates folder, nobody can delete folder. mac users can add files, delete files, etc. if empty folder of contents , try , delete folder itself, says not allowed. or, worse, client machine's finder flips off of folder after delete command, gets weird, , folder remains (this weird behavior ...
