hello, using trial version of transmit , thinking buy licence i'm confused. want upload files "admin" folder. tried upload files , transmit asked me if want replace or merge files. clicked on replace , transmit deleted full "admin" folder! previous used filezilla, there wasn't problem. filezilla slow (gui). can me how add files existing folder on ftp?   doesn't read documentation when faced unfamiliar features? hello, im new in forum. bought macbook yosemite installed. decided reinstall whole thing through disk utility, ended formatting whole thing. recovery disk, mac disc, whole thing. when try boot up, folder flashing ? comes up. tried download different .amg installations , make bootable usb on windows pc in trashmap mac osx yosemite amg file on it, cant select when boot recovery or when pressing alt down. keep on getting white screen or folder flashing no matter do. downloaded 5 different os x bootable installations.. im kind of stuck here. have been messing around days. option buy new harddrive running? ive mistake deleted , forgot make new partition guess, , doesnt know boot on. can here?   it know model of mac have. since not know, if mac new enough can boot internet recovery (command-option-r) , restore os mac shipped with. option buy bootable usb thumb drive yosemite installer ebay.

i use samsung galaxy s6 edge plus daily right (have iphone 6s plus well). use because better device needs (vacation pics, front , rear camera) , samsung pay awesome, can't appalled @ how terrible software when comparing ios in many ways. i'm not going samsung software because know of terrible. thankfully, 1 can disable or samsung software , use material design theme on top of touchwiz. google, when going stop being terrible at: 1) battery life! can disable every thing location services, android device manager, debloat every possible thing, , iphone 6s plus gets 2x days of straight usage, possibly 2 weeks of idle if left there. s6 edge + gets 3 days of idle, or maybe 5 hours of screen usage on it. 2) music! don't me started. google play music still beta service. duplicate tracks, replaced explicit tracks, app not refreshing, taking days update changes online, changes playlists not updating ages. poor performance in app. horrible interface.

hey guys, on ios 9.0 , debating whether or not should update 9.2 or jailbreak. dont need jailbreak prefer on non jb unless 9.2 has significant improvements on 9.0. has noticed significant improvements on 9.2 on previous ios 9.xx. im using iphone 6s. main thing hate when im playing music , go camera turns off music. there update that?   i don't know others i'm having 1 major issue 6s plus 9.2 update. battery drain issue , i've gone far dfu restore , set new , still think there running. read 1 forum in apple.com community forum , suggested disabling ical sync in icloud settings , fixed drain issue. turned off mine , apparently helped bit. 6 plus it's in airplane mode , left untouched. @ night noticed down 92% @ 1 hour 2 minutes of usage (non real usage left untouched since unplugged it). 9.1 didn't @ on 6 plus. anyways @ least killed lag/stutter bug had on 6s plus.  

hey all, before starts jumping conclusions, know mac's not ideal gaming computer. have 2 games on 2015 rmbp 13" 1= star wars kotor 2 , 2= cod 4. picked xbox 360 controller use during holiday trip see in-laws. loaded drivers, , controller works cod 4. however!!!! battery drain ridiculous. normal? i'm talking 2.0 2.5 hours of battery life on full charge. when noticed quick drain in battery life, noticed fans humming loudly. typically 8-10 hours on single charge rmbp. know gaming takes more resources, shocked @ dramatic difference in battery life. games downloaded mac app store.   yep thats right, if max out computer games terrible battery life thats way i'm afraid. can set fps, turn off uneeded effects, turn down screeen brightness , resolution etc , bit more time laptops useless gaming 17" gaming laptops huge batteries crap battery life.

this type of problem long time mac users help. still have iweb installed in 1 of macs (my 10 year old mbp more precise) , got iweb projects in i'd make available online again people used visit them. i'd do: want single url , put homepage links both websites/projects must use same host/same url. don't want either website show links/pages other site. once people click on link site want visit, want them have impression using websites made. however, far know there no way of linking 1 iweb project iweb project in iweb. so, can of offer me suggestion? know workaround?   that shouldn't problem if make sure 1 of them not have "index" first page, can either (safe way) install in each folder on host (e.g. page #1 in root folder , page #2 in /page2/ folder, can keep index file) trickier 1 ensure pages have unique names , 1 index, should work.

hello i've received new imac 5k couple of days ago, maxed out settings except 3tb fusion drive. mentioned before, people complaining noise level fusion drive. myself believe it's bit noticeable when working in quiet environment. however, question following: i've read comment hearing fusion drive day 1 well, after 2 weeks became silent. now, apple.com saying "over time, system learns how work, tailors management of fusion drive work best you." mean "over time" means once system has learned workflow, becomes more efficiency , less noisy? perhaps because 128gb ssd taking on active use of imac? did 3tb fusion drive in 5k imac , did sound/noise level in drive change on time (+weeks)? insight appreciated, since i'm thinking returning ssd only.   Forums Macs Desktops

i bought 2 keyboard cases test out ipad mini 4. new logitech focus , zagg slim book mini 4. i'll right it. both of these bad cases different reasons. zagg has amazing keyboard. it's backlit, although considering brightness of ipad i'm not sure why you'd need use often. key spacing gracious, travel acceptable , keys pretty need be. keyboard, it's great. keyboard + case combo, it's worst piece of craptastic engineering i've ever seen. unit ships plastic cover ipad mini 4. pop on of mini , can use mini 4 without keyboard , still have protected, or slide hinge mechanism of keyboard , you've got nice little laptop form factor. both plastic hinge , plastic cover horribly designed. extremely brittle, hinge literally cracked first time opened unit. case fits mini 4 rarely....i returned 3 times before got 1 snap on mini 4. highly suspect zagg made these pre-production releases of mini 4. , once manage 1 fit, starts cr

just unpacked brand new atv4. had jailbroken atv2 before, streaming nas - happy rid myself of jailbreaking etc since there tons (well, thought there be) of players, , love using siri on iphone. however, on atv siri disabled option. after digging on internet, found reason cannot comprehend, need have both regional settings, location, , language set supported combination in order work. let me rephrase - live in greece ( yeah know, pay debt , ). hate using greek tech related, since have been using english ever since started computers on 20 years ago. iphone set english, pc/laptop/etc in english, , use siri in english. atv won't allow siri (in english) work in greece. and, if change locale us/uk, supported combination, siri work... until try related apple music (which subscribed to), or appstore (both greek region), region changed , siri breaks again. ranting aside, know of way make above setup work? in advance!

i'm reading remote can adjust tv's volume, else can do? can turn tv on , off. can switch input apple tv? i've installed osx10.11.1 mid2010 imac. have no external disc drive, 1 internal imac. i'm trying copy disc of photos received on dvd. put disc in , choose 'burn x disc' , told put in disc, has sufficient capacity. when eject original , put in new disc seems there's not buffer file burn from. downloaded pics photo , in photo there's no 'burn cd' option. have empty disc in drive , try drag , drop won't work either. tried same desktop file photos in it, still no joy. tried disc utility same results. can't find new el capitan online or searching macrumors. questions are, how copy cd/dvd? can el capitan or need app? how copy pics photo cd? try might still can't find photos folder in finder. in finder have pictures. in pictures can find iphoto library, no photo library, might find photo files? thanks, m   nmcyclist said:

i have purchased 2 hgst 4 tb hard drives increase storage options. have 2010 5,1 mac pro running 10.10.5 yosemite. tried initialising mac os extended(journaled) on first drive in bay 1 using disc utility. after 1 failed attempt formatted after second time , thought fine. drive formatted 400.09 gb , despite trying re initialise stuck on figure. second drive initialised in external drive reader, , using drive genius time, guid partition table checked. when mounted in mac pro reads 4tb drive. using external drive reader , drive genius , disc utility cannot re initialise 1st drive thing other 400.09gb. ideas on can re-format drive correctly 4tb , assuming there nothing wrong hardware?   try resetting nvram disk installed, try re-formatting: https://support.apple.com/en-in/ht204063 when new drive installed system won't recognize it. may or may not work it's easy , can't hurt system.
