hey, picked sandisk 960gb ultra ii sataiii £150 in black friday. it's going mid-2010 imac, has 12gb ram , seems otherwise fine, apart being slow. i'm upgrading internal disc drive, it's quite noisy (which apparently sign of dying drive) , it's pretty cheap 3 tb drive added (with fan drive program, of course). ssd going 'hidden bay' , 3tb movie footage. anyway, mac repair place said they'd have recommended samsung sell, contains own 'garbage' feature, although conceded new apple trim update should work. having researched, suggests samsung's 'garbage' feature might stop imac sleeping, actually, sandisk plus apple trim better? - else running drive in imac of similar age? - what's best trim setup, official apple terminal command, or third party app? - if use apple terminal command, third party apps should using optimise ssd? thanks!

hi there, wanted share thoughts on ipad air 2. have owned year , ever since microsoft office , ios 9 came out, machine has surprisingly replaced mac mini of work. have replaced mini hdd ssd , have not installed many programs ever since. ipad on other hand has more productive apps of them free or available @ lower price compared ones on mac. since lazy , reluctant reinstall or buy programs again on mac, decided give ipad go finish basic work. turned out apps available pretty great me stuffs. microsoft word has enough features me write reports can save pdf , upload personal dropbox storage. microsoft outlook allows me upload files have saved dropbox account. pixelmator enough me light photo editing not miss photoshop on computer much. scanner pro makes ipad document scanner can scan , send friends via email. neat features in ios 9 boost ipad's productivity. example side-to-side apps allow me write documents in word while reading articles on safari.
